We recommend that all knitted garments should be washed by hand only to maintain their shape and texture. Use wool detergent only and soak in warm water, rinse and squeeze out water gently then roll it in a bath towel to absorb excess moisture, alternatively, spin shortly in a washing machine. Lay flat and let air-dry.
Stock Level
The shopping cart will inform you if you're ordering more than what we have. However, technical error may occur, in which case if you have already paid for the goods, we will email you and will advise shipping date. If you do not want to wait, we will happily refund your money back.
If the quantity you require is more than our stock level, please email us and we will try our best to make it available for you.
Ball Winding
Ball winding service is free and is available for most of our yarns. Please request at checkout in comment box and expect 3-5 days of processing time.
Special Orders for Hand Dyed Yarns
If you need more skeins or cannot find your favourite colours, please email us and we will try to custom-dye for you.
Payment
All prices are in AUD and include 10% GST. For overseas orders, tax will be deducted from the subtotal at checkout. If you have chosen to display prices in other currencies, please note that these are for your reference only. Actual exchange rate may vary slightly depending on your credit card company and Paypal's rate at the time of conversion.
Aussie buyers: We accept credit cards (Mastercard and Visa card), Paypal, or bank deposit. Bank details will be provided on "Thank you" page after placing your order.
International buyers: Payment can be made with your credit card or Paypal.
Our credit card processor, Westpac's Web Advantage payment system, uses the SSL certificate to ensure a secure transaction.
All customers' information will be treated as confidential and we will not disclose to outside third parties.
Shipping
We deliver to all countries and shipping cost will be displayed in your shopping cart upon selecting the shipping zone and it's before making payment. All orders will be shipped from Australia via Australia Post. Postage cost is calculated automatically based on the total parcel weight. Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs; unless the goods are faulty, we will cover the postage cost that may incur.
Aussie buyers can choose from Regular or Express post.
International buyers can choose from Airmail (5-10days), or Seamail (2-3months).
Parcels are usually shipped within 1 business day upon receipt of payment.
Return
The Knittery strives to deliver the best products and service to our customers. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please do not hesitate to contact and let us know the problem and we will make every effort to resolve your concerns.
We cannot accept refunds for books and knitting accessories unless there is a manufacturer defect or damage in transit.
Returns are accepted within 30 days from date of sale. Refund will not include shipping cost unless we have sent you a wrong item or item was defective. Refund will be granted only when the item is at its original and resalable condition.
